Well, life is busy. Things come and go, and certain things seem more important to get done than others. This is why I stand here... ashamed and embarrassed. How could I leave my blog untouched for such a long period of time? Blogging in its rightful place should be about 3rd down from the successful first place position (maybe I'm taking this too far?) Enough about that, time for the good stuff.
Our situation is a strange one at the moment. When our contract at our apartment was about to expire, we had to think about what we were going to do. Did we want to resign for 6 more months? What was ahead of us? Ashley has her job (and because of it we are able to afford living in California, we are both very thankful for it), I am in school, just about to the point of transferring to a 4 year university. Taking the maximum allowance of credits 3 semesters in a row and being MVP and All-Star at work are not so easy tasks, but ARE obtainable. Anyways, we had some choices. Some of them included staying in the apartment, some of them included moving in with Ashley's parents, some of them included leaving for BYU, and others included leaving for BYUI. As it sits, the decision that we made was to forget about paying rent and utilities, move in with the Johnsons (which helps us save LOADS more money), and see where it goes from there.
Other than worrying about life (of which there is and never will be an escape), we enjoy ourselves by:
going on a cruise (Honeymoon), hanging out at DisneyLand (season passes expired :/), eating out at Rubios, going to Chicago and seeing Wicked in the front row, playing with our new pet, Paris the ferret (we left for Vegas at about 8 PM, stayed the night, bought a ferret and drove home the next day), playing Wii and Halo 3 (I'm slowly teaching Ashley how to hold her own), getting Golden Spoon frozen yogurt, watching Lost from the beginning (neither of us had watched it before), and just being in the good old California sun (the Johnsons live 10 minutes from the beach, our apartment was only a 15 minute drive!).
I guess thats it for tonight, hopefully we will be more up to date with our blogging. We look forward to catching up with you all soon!
