Coupon Shopping Lessons...

So a few people have asked me to teach them how to coupon shop....

A few months ago I was asked if I would present at the BYU-Idaho Home and Family Conference a class on coupon shopping....

So to help me feel comfortable in front of a ton of people I am going to have a girls night on Wednesday (March 10) at 7:00pm at my place for friends to teach what you need to know to start coupon shopping!

If your in Rexburg... come on over! Even if you don't want to learn how to coupon shop it will be a fun girls night, which is always needed!!!

If your interested in the Home and Family Conference here is a link to where you go to get tickets....

Who knew $15 could get you this.....

Crazy huh!!!! I got this whole basket of veggies and fruit for only $15!

My friend Jeni told me about this website where you purchase a basket of fruit and veggies on Monday or Tuesday and you pick a place where you want to pick it up and the following Saturday you go get it! You don't know what will be in the basket when you go but we love fruit and veggies at our house so we figured we would give it a shot! This was our first week doing it and we are SOLD! We LOVE it!!!! Tonight had burgers with some of the lettuce and we grilled some of the Zucchini after we marinated it in Teriyaki sauce, it was DELICIOUS!

We went to the store today for other items and I just wanted to get an idea of how much this would has cost us... this is what I found out, at Albertson's this week the prices were:

Asparagus = $3/lb
Strawberries= $4/bx
Blueberries= $5/bx (and I got 2 boxes)
Pears = $1.29/lb
Zucchini= $1.49/lb,
Apples= $1/lb
Oranges= $1/lb
Lettuce= $1.29/each
Cabbage= ?
Cucumbers= ?
Bananas= ? but usually around $5 for how many I ended up with

This goes to show you that this is the best deal I have ever seen!!!!

This company also sales bread in bulk, tortillas, a mexican veggie basket for making salsa, even a granola mix.

I am so excited about it... if you live in ID, AZ, UT, and a few other states this could be something you can try too... check out their site and tell me what you think if you try it....

New Beginnings was a HIT!

This years theme is all about Courage!

(This is what we gave the girls... I was so excited how they turned out!)

We went with one of my favorites and based our New Beginnings night on the Wizard of Oz... "Follow the yellow (virtue) brick road, There's no Place like Home!" The girls put on a skit that I found on Sugar Doodle that turned out AWESOME! They did so good especially since we had to move around a few characters an hour before it was to start! Here are a few pictures of the room and night! It looked awesome... I was very pleased!
